The Charity Tour

The Charity Tour

This is a tour designed to take children living in orphanage homes on an excursion to historical places of interest eg. Museum, Slave Trade Harbour, Lord Lugard’s House, Stadium, Free Trade Zone, The Palace of Obong of Calabar, The Millennium Park, Rasio Stations, Navy Base, TV Stations etc on Children’s Day. The children are given motivational talks during the tour to give them a sense of self-worth and motivate them to aspire for greatness.

It also gives us a census of their estimated numbers per orphanage, their needs, requirements, and challenges etc. CRY introduced this in 2018. The first and second editions of The Charity Tour have been very successful.
